Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Braiders Tools N More (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you use our online store at braiderstoolsnmore.com. We sell braiding, wig-making, salon, and related beauty/hair tools and supplies to customers in Ghana.

This page describes how the storefront application works today. It is not legal advice.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the store, we may process:

• Account details — name, email address, and sign-in credentials (passwords are stored by our authentication system; we do not store passwords in plain text).
• Order contact details — name, email, and phone number you provide at checkout (guest or signed-in).
• Delivery or pickup details — for delivery orders: recipient name, phone, region, city, address, and optional landmark; for pickup orders: the selected pickup location snapshot.
• Order and fulfilment data — items ordered, quantities, prices in Ghana cedis (GHS), fulfilment method, order status, and payment status.
• Payment references — Mobile Money payer phone and network channel when you pay online, plus payment attempt status and provider reference identifiers needed to confirm payment. We do not collect or store Mobile Money PINs, USSD secrets, or raw card numbers.
• Shopping preferences — cart contents and, when you are signed in, wishlist items.
• Technical session data — essential cookies needed for guest bags, sign-in sessions, and guest order confirmation access. See our Cookie Policy.

How we use information

• Create and fulfil orders (including pickup and nationwide delivery in Ghana)
• Start and verify Mobile Money payments through our payment provider
• Send transactional emails about your order, payment, and fulfilment status
• Provide account features such as order history and wishlist
• Prevent fraud, enforce access controls, and keep the storefront secure
• Respond when you contact us for support

We do not sell customer lists. We do not currently send marketing newsletters from this storefront application.

Payment providers

Online Mobile Money payments are processed by our payment provider (Moolre). When you pay, you interact with that provider’s payment flow. Braiders Tools N More stores order totals, payment status, and the payment references needed to confirm whether a payment succeeded. We do not store your Mobile Money PIN.

Service providers who help us operate

We use trusted infrastructure providers to run the store, including hosting, database storage, authentication, email delivery, and payment processing. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.

Communications

If you place an order with an email address, we may send transactional messages such as order received, payment confirmed or failed, and fulfilment updates. Email delivery is best-effort and does not change whether your order was created or paid.

How long we keep information

We keep order, payment, and account records for as long as needed to fulfil orders, handle support questions, meet operational needs, and maintain accurate business records. Guest cart and guest order-access cookies expire according to the lifetimes described in the Cookie Policy.

Your choices

• You may shop as a guest without creating an account.
• You may create an account to use wishlist and signed-in order history.
• You may request help updating or clarifying order contact details by contacting us.
• You can control cookies in your browser; blocking essential cookies may break sign-in, guest bags, or guest order confirmation access.

Children

This storefront is intended for adult customers purchasing tools and supplies. We do not knowingly create accounts for children.

Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or the storefront change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do.
